What will be your mission?

 

As a Pastry Chef, you will report to the F&B Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the pastry service, from preparation to confection and coordination of the service with room teams, complying with internal standards and procedures in order to guarantee a quality service and excellence, exceeding customer expectations.

What will you do?

We are looking for an innovative and passionate Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team at the Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exquisite pastries and desserts that delight our guests. You will oversee, plan, and participate in the production of our specialized bakery and pastry menu items.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and produce a variety of creative pastries and desserts.
  • Supervise and manage the centralized production of bakery and pastry items.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for the pastry team.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications 

  • Advanced degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Business.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a large-scale bakery or pastry production.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Creative, innovative, and self-motivated with a commitment to teamwork and customer service
