Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager, Technical Supervisor, or Head of Maintenance looking for a role with autonomy and a good work–life balance? At NH Amersfoort, you’ll take the lead in managing and improving the entire technical operation of the hotel.

Instead of a factory environment, you’ll work in a dynamic hotel setting where your technical expertise directly impacts the guest experience. Together with your team, you ensure smooth operations behind the scenes from building systems and maintenance planning to small projects, safety, and continuous improvements. You’ll have plenty of independence to set priorities, implement changes, and further strengthen the hotel’s technical standards.

Your Role at a Glance  

 

As Maintenance Manager, you are fully responsible for all technical operations within the hotel. Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating daily planning and maintenance schedules

  • Managing electrical, mechanical, sanitary, HVAC and energy systems

  • Ensuring guest rooms, public areas and technical installations remain in excellent condition

  • Coordinating external technical partners for elevators, cooling systems, air conditioning and sprinkler installations

  • Planning preventive maintenance and inspections 

  • Supervising renovations and technical projects, when applicable.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, HACCP standards and legal requirements

  • Acting quickly in case of malfunctions or emergencies

 

What Makes You a Great Fit    

  • Experience as a Maintenance Manager, Head of Maintenance or Facility Manager
  • Good command of the Dutch language
  • Experience within hospitality, facilities, real estate or service-driven environments is strongly preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge combined with a hands-on leadership approach
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Flexible and solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no day is the same
