With 419 rooms, conference facilities for up to 700 guests, and premium amenities including a gym, indoor pool, spa, and sauna, your job will never be boring. You will work on a wide range of systems and equipment. There are also exciting projects coming, like a new Building Management System (BMS) and building renovation. This job is perfect if you like variety, responsibility, and solving technical puzzles.

Your Role at a Glance 

As Head of Maintenance, you are responsible for all technical work in the hotel. You make sure everything is safe, working properly, and fixed quickly when there is a problem. No two days are the same, you might fix a small issue in the morning and handle a bigger technical problem later.

Team & Daily Work:

• Manage and guide a team of 5 technicians 

• Create schedules and daily work planning

• Make sure problems are solved quickly 

Technical Work: 

• Take care of all installations: Heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), Electrical systems, Water systems, Mechanical equipment

• Make sure rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are in good condition 

• Work with outside companies (elevators, cooling systems, fire/sprinklers, etc.) 

• Follow safety rules and legal requirements 

Projects & Improvements: 

• Help with renovations and technical projects (like new systems) 

• Plan regular maintenance to prevent problems

• Look for ways to save energy and reduce costs 

Administration: 

• Keep records of work and maintenance 

• Handle inspections and reports 

• Acting quickly in case of malfunctions or emergencies

• Make sure everything meets regulations 

What Makes You a Great Fit   

This job is a mix of office work (planning, admin – 80%) and hands-on technical work (20%). 

• You have experience in maintenance (hotel, building, or similar) 
• You have an experience leading a team
• You understand technical installations (heating, electricity, water, etc.)
• You have experience with W-installations and good knowledge of relevant legal regulations
• You know basic safety and technical rules related to buildings/installations
• You can lead a team and keep people motivated
• You like solving technical problems
• You stay calm under pressure
• You are practical and proactive
• You like working in a busy environment where every day is different
• You have experience in hotels or working with guests is a plus
• You have experience managing with budgets and costs
