Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam hotel is one of Amsterdam's oldest and finest five-star hotels. This beautiful building dates back to the 17th century and is located on the banks of the Amstel River, in the historic heart of Amsterdam. It won't surprise you that over three centuries, it has hosted royal and legendary guests, from Queen Victoria to the Beatles. Rembrandt's 'Night Watch' was painted to display within its walls. Our hotel is monumental and offers a classic contemporary look. The tram and metro stop Rokin is around the corner, as is Rembrandtplein. We work in a small team and know each other well. We have a lot of personal contact with our guests and because of our small size we help each other in all departments to achieve that 'extraordinary' guest experience.

Your Key Contributions to Memorable Stays  

As a Social Media & Marketing intern, you are passionate about social media, content creation, and the latest digital trends. You love discovering creative inspiration online and can't resist capturing the perfect photo or video when you see an opportunity. 

In this role, you will create engaging and brand-reinforcing content for our social media channels and other digital platforms. You will support the development of creative content ideas, monitor social media trends, and help bring new concepts to life that strengthen the visibility of Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam. You will assist with content creation for Instagram and Facebook including video creation, and basic editing. Using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Edits, you will help create visually appealing content and support the design of hotel collateral materials.

In addition, you will evaluate and follow up on international media and influencer requests, prepare communications for upcoming media and influencer stays, and support PR activities and partnerships. You will also have the opportunity to participate in departmental meetings, support the organization of events and special activations, contribute to hotel decorations and seasonal experiences, and be involved in various marketing projects within Tivoli Doelen.

• You are currently enrolled as a student and can provide internship contract for the full duration of the internship
• You are available to start in late February or early March 2027

• You have a passion for social media and content creation.
• You have a creative mindset and love staying up to date with the latest trends.
• You enjoy filming videos on iPhone and creating engaging visual content.
• You are always looking for inspiration online and have an eye for detail.
• You have basic knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut or Edits.
• You have basic proficiency in Canva.
• You are proactive, organized, and eager to learn.
• You have excellent communication skills in English
• You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, creative and professional.
• You are flexible in an environment that changes all the time.

For this internship, we require an official internship contract issued by your university. This is a mandatory requirement, and without an approved internship contract, we unfortunately will not be able to proceed further in the selection process.
