As a Quality Trainee at Minor Hotels Europe, you will be part of the team that safeguards and elevates quality standards across more than 100 hotels in Europe, covering multiple brands. This is combination of a theoretical and practical internship, you will be actively involved in hotel operations, quality audits, data analysis, and improvement initiatives that directly impact guest satisfaction.

You will work closely with the Quality team, General Managers, and hotel teams across the region, gaining hands-on exposure to how quality, brand standards, and guest experience come together in an international hotel group.

Your Role at a Glance  

As a Quality Trainee, you will support the European Quality team in monitoring performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing initiatives that strengthen service quality and consistency across our hotels.

 

You will split your time between:

  • Office (Hoofddorp) – collaboration, analysis, project work
  • Hotel visits across Europe – quality assessments, follow-ups, support
  • Remote work – reporting, preparation, documentation

This traineeship offers a unique combination of analysis, travel, stakeholder interaction, and project ownership.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Visiting hotels to assess quality, either as a ‘known’ guest or a ‘mystery’ guest
  • Participating in hotel quality visits, both announced and unannounced (mystery guest)
  • Preparing and following up on site visits, and reviewing outcomes
  • Analyzing guest feedback, surveys, and quality scores and translating insights into improvement actions
  • Supporting the coordination of Quality follow-up visits and/ or calls with hotel management
  • Supporting brand-specific quality projects, rollouts, pilots, and re-brandings
  • Working with digital quality tools and platforms used across the organization
  • Assisting with workshops, meetings, and quality-related events

 

What Makes You a Great Fit    

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Hospitality, Facility Management, Business, Quality Management, or similar)
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months (internship must be part of your study program)
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and curious
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Confident communicating with various stakeholders, including hotel management
  • Fluent in English (Dutch, Spanish, Italian and/or German is a strong advantage)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Open to travel and eager to work in a multicultural, hospitality-driven environment
  • Previous internship experience in a hotel environment is a strong plus.
