What part will you play in creating the unforgettable?

As a Guest Service Assistant Intern, you play a key role in creating an exceptional and memorable experience for all our guests. You are one of the warmest and most visible representatives of the hotel, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well taken care of from the moment they arrive.

Guest Arrival & Welcome

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and create a welcoming first impression.
  • Assist guests with directions to reception or other hotel areas.
  • Offer support with luggage when necessary (light assistance, not bellboy-level).
  • Provide basic information about the hotel layout, facilities, and services.

 

Lobby Presence & Guest Support

  • Maintain a visible and helpful presence in the lobby at all times.
  • Observe guest behavior and proactively offer help when needed.
  • Assist guests with questions regarding transport, city information, and local recommendations.
  • Help manage guest flow during peak arrival and departure periods.

 

Guest Relations Support

  • Support the Guest Relations team with VIP arrivals and special requests.
  • Ensure VIP amenities and welcome gifts are correctly prepared and delivered.
  • Assist in handling guest complaints by listening actively and informing the responsible department.

 

Reception Assistance

  • Guide guests to self-check-in kiosks or assist with digital tools if the hotel uses them.
  • Help guests fill out registration cards, online check-in, or collect missing information.
  • Inform reception of early arrivals, special needs, or guest preferences noticed in the lobby.

 

Lobby Environment & Coordination

  • Keep the lobby area tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Report maintenance issues or housekeeping needs in the lobby immediately.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure public spaces remain clean and organized.

 

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a link between the lobby, reception, Guest Relations, housekeeping, and security.
  • Support during group arrivals by coordinating with reception and ensuring smooth flow.
  • Provide updates about guest movement and lobby occupancy to the front office team.

 

Additional Guest Services

  • Assist guests with printing boarding passes, calling taxis, or booking restaurant tables.
  • Provide umbrellas, chargers, or other items available for loan at the front desk.
  • Offer beverages or small amenities during busy check-in times (if part of the hotel's service concept).
