Are you an experienced technical professional who likes to keep an overview while remaining actively involved on the ground? As Maintenance Manager, you will combine a leadership role with operational responsibilities. You will be responsible for managing the team, planning maintenance activities and monitoring the budget, while remaining actively involved in the hotel’s day-to-day maintenance. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical issues, preventive and corrective maintenance, and the continuous improvement of the hotel’s technical installations.

Your Role at a Glance
You will lead the maintenance team and actively support them with hands-on technical work whenever needed. In addition, you will:

- coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for guest rooms, public areas, installations and hotel facilities;
- analyse and resolve technical faults and operational issues;
- plan statutory inspections, technical checks and safety controls;
- closely monitor energy consumption, maintenance costs and budgets;
- prepare project plans and maintenance schedules and ensure deadlines are met;
- work with external suppliers and contractors and monitor the quality of their work;
- maintain contact with external authorities, including the fire brigade;
- work closely with other hotel departments to ensure the comfort and safety of both guests and colleagues
What Makes You a Great Fit
For this position, we are looking for someone with proven technical and leadership experience. In addition:

- you have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in technical maintenance, preferably within a hotel or a similar service-oriented environment;
- you have completed a technical education, for example in electrical engineering, HVAC or electromechanics;
- you speak Dutch or French fluently, and knowledge of English is a strong advantage;
- you are practically minded and enjoy solving technical problems yourself;
- you work in a structured way and maintain a clear overview, even when several issues arise at the same time;
- you can work both independently and as part of a team;
- you preferably have experience with MS Office, SAP, CMMS/GMAO and BMS systems.
