What will be your mission?
As Sales Manager you must ensure the development of all the hotel's business segments, the increase according to goals of the accounts in your portfolio and promote interdepartmental synergy.
What will you do?
- Provide constant support and follow-up to their area, filling vacancies and ensuring assertive interdepartmental communication with the Sales Manager Provinces area and the Director of Business Development of the region.
- Train teams in portfolio rotation and prospecting for new business.
- Negotiate with internal and external customers to achieve volume trade agreements.
- Constantly stay updated on the product, service and benchmark.
- Prepare and present both virtual and face-to-face reports to regional managers and investment partners.
- To remain in constant search of potential strategic customers at a global level.
What are we looking for?
- At least 5 years in similar positions in the hotel industry, tourism and/or service companies.
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent in experience. Postgraduate degrees related to the function will be highly valued.
- Advanced level English. Speaking other languages will be highly valued.
- Knowledge and interpretation of industry KPIs.
- Advanced handling of the Microsoft Office package (mainly Excel and PowerPoint). The use of platforms such as BI will be highly valued.
- Knowledge of Agency360, Duetto, STR, Lanyon, CVent and other industry platforms.
- Must have a portfolio in at least one of the following segments:
- MICE: Event production companies, entertainment, sports, pharmaceutical and laboratory sectors.
- TMC: Consortia and Travel Managers.
- Corporate: Local corporate accounts.
