What will be your mission?

 

As a Gastronomy Ambassador & PR (M/F), you will be the face and voice of the F&B department, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, promoting the brand’s gastronomic identity, and strengthening external visibility through public relations, media, influencers, and strategic partners.

What will you do?

 

  • Welcome and accompany guests, providing active service support.
  • Identify preferences, personalise recommendations, and coordinate dietary restrictions or special requests.
  • Communicate each outlet’s gastronomic identity and vision.
  • Manage the reservation system for all F&B outlets.
  • Confirm, adjust and monitor special reservations, VIP bookings and private events.
  • Ensure smooth communication between reservations and operational teams.
  • Maximise occupancy while balancing table turnover with service quality.
  • Implement upselling practices for premium products and experiences.
  • Attend and represent F&B at internal and external events.
  • Support visibility events dedicated to F&B, hosting journalists, bloggers and content creators.
  • Assist central Marketing and the PR agency with press kits, gastronomic descriptions and content.
  • Participate in interviews, videos and external communications when required.
  • Represent F&B in brand activations and strategic partnerships.
  • Explain menus, concepts, culinary techniques, ingredients and the overall gastronomic philosophy.
  • Act as the official “ambassador” of the hotel’s gastronomic experience.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to innovate the offering.

What are we looking for?

 

  • Good knowledge of gastronomy.
  • Experience with reservation systems.
  • Strong upselling skills and customer management abilities.
  • Ease in public communication and brand representation.
  • Knowledge of PR and marketing within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multitasking ability and strong organisational skills.
  • Proactivity, autonomy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain consistency and composure under pressure.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants or guest relations.
  • Experience in reservation and/or event management.
  • Public relations skills.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (other languages are a plus).
