What will be your mission?
As Banqueting Shift Leader, you will be in charge of overseeing all aspects of a banquet or events, including setting up the meeting rooms, food presentation and serving whilst focusing on detail and quality presentation and customer service.
What will you do?
- Coordinate daily operations, ensuring processes and procedures related to product configuration, quality and service meet brand standards.
- Assist in the organisation, coordination and allocation of restaurant staff activities, tasks and shifts.
- Oversee the performance of all F&B team members for all areas under their responsibility.
- Ensure that team members are aware of and offer the various products and services available in the hotel restaurant.
- Ensure that all information communicated by the hotel's internal commercial department is received and properly implemented by the F&B team.
- Supervise the set-up of the hotel rooms for the organisation of events.
- Maintain direct and frequent contact with guests to ensure guest expectations are met.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of frequent guests, paying attention to their preferences.
- Manage and monitor guest concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Review and monitor the correct application of up-selling and cross-selling techniques within the F&B team.
- Contribute to the control of costs in all areas of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, hygiene and alcohol awareness standards.
What are we looking for?
- 2 to 3 years experience in F&B.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Availability to work afternoon/evening shift.
- Professional training in hotel management.
- Working knowledge of various software programs (Microsoft Office, TMS, etc.) and POS system.
- Service vocation.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
