We are looking for a Kitchen Shift Leader to strengthen our team and take our kitchen operations to the next level.

What will be your mission?

As a Kitchen Shift Leader, you are responsible for leading the shift and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while maintaining the highest quality standards.

What will you do?

• Lead the kitchen during your shift and keep operations under control
• Ensure the quality, presentation and consistency of all dishes
• Participate in daily kitchen operations together with the team
• Organize and prepare mise-en-place efficiently while minimizing waste
• Handle receiving, storing and organizing products
• Maintain a clean, well-organized and safe working environment
• Monitor food quality, freshness and proper storage
• Report maintenance, hygiene and safety issues
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Support team performance and contribute to achieving departmental goals

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an à la carte kitchen or hotel kitchen
• Ability to take responsibility and perform well under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Calm, solution-oriented mindset with good situational awareness
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Passion for developing kitchen operations and improving ways of working
• Fluency in English (Finnish is considered an advantage)
