We are looking for friendly, service-oriented Summer Receptionists to join our Front Office team for the summer season. This role is perfect for hospitality students or early-career professionals who enjoy working with people and creating memorable guest experiences.

Employment period
    •    We are welcoming new team members from April earliest, Summer roles time period being May–September
    •    Contracts based on 90 hours per 3-week period
    •    Part-time summer position

What will be your responsibility?

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in delivering an exceptional stay experience, in line with the hotel’s vision and values.

What will you do?

    •    Welcome guests and handle check-in and check-out processes professionally and efficiently
    •    Manage room allocation in cooperation with other departments
    •    Handle guest requests, inquiries, feedback, and complaints, and keep relevant teams informed
    •    Demonstrate good knowledge of hotel products, services, rates, promotions, VIP guests, and events
    •    Inform guests about hotel services, safety information, and local attractions
    •    Handle room reservations and maximize occupancy using best available rates
    •    Upsell hotel services, food & beverage offerings, and loyalty programmes
    •    Assist guests with special arrangements (transportation, reservations, wake-up calls, etc.)
    •    Follow company brand standards and support other departments when needed
    •    Manage payments, invoicing, and cash operations during assigned shifts
    •    Ensure smooth front office operations and guest satisfaction at all times

What are we looking for?

    •    Fluent Finnish is required
    •    Great English skills is required
    •    Previous experience in customer service or front office duties is an advantage
    •    Degree, diploma, or studies in hospitality or hotel management are considered a plus
    •    Confident user of computer systems (Front Office systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
    •    Customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills
    •    Sales-oriented and detail-focused approach
    •    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    •    Flexibility to work different shifts during the summer season
