Laundry Worker (M/F) | Tivoli Lagos Algarve Resort

What will be your mission?

As Laundry Worker (M/F), you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of the hotel's laundry operations. 

What will you do?

• Arrive at work punctually wearing the provided uniform, ensuring a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the employee manual;
• Take care of personal image and presentation;
• Work as part of a team;
• Participate in the daily briefing and receive service assignments;
• Collect and distribute weekly requisitions and perform inventories when necessary;
• Perform carpet cleaning in rooms, corridors, and public areas;
• Maintain the pool area, including setup and towel replenishment;
• Clean guest staircases;
• Wash windows and blinds;
• Polish marble surfaces;
• Carry out cleaning, tidying, and decoration of rooms, floors, common areas, and service areas, according to instructions from the supervisor;
• Manage the control and replenishment of clean and dirty laundry;
• Collect and record damaged or stained laundry;
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, environmental, and safety standards.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles (preferred);
• Versatility and adaptability;
• Teamwork skills;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Sense of responsibility, determination, and confidence;
• Sewing skills;
• Driver’s license.
