What will be your mission?
What will you do?
- Lead and inspire the Front Office team, promoting a culture of excellence, genuine hospitality and continuous improvement.
- Ensure an exceptional arrival and departure experience for all guests, anticipating needs and creating memorable moments.
- Ensure full compliance with the hotel’s operational standards, Leading Hotels of the World requirements and partner luxury programmes.
- Promote a culture of recognition, continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Oversee all Front Office operations, including Reception, Concierge services and all processes related to the guest experience.
- Monitor key performance indicators, guest satisfaction, service quality and departmental productivity.
- Effectively manage guest complaints and service recovery opportunities, ensuring prompt and personalised solutions.
- Ensure financial management of the department, including revenue control, operational audits and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to deliver a seamless and consistent guest experience throughout the entire journey.
- Actively participate in recruitment, onboarding, development and performance evaluation processes.
- Promote a results-driven culture focused on operational excellence and both guest and employee satisfaction.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Front Office leadership roles within international luxury or upscale hospitality environments.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills, with the ability to manage multicultural teams effectively.
- Highly guest-focused, with a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.
- In-depth knowledge of Front Office operations, Guest Experience and Revenue Awareness.
- Proven experience in managing quality standards and international recognition programmes.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving and ability to perform in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English; additional languages will be an asset.
- Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
- Proficiency in PMS systems and hospitality technology tools.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
