What will be your mission?
As a Pastry Chef, reporting to the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries and desserts, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
What will you do?
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, creams, doughs, and other pastry products.
- Select, prepare, and check the quality of ingredients and raw materials.
- Operate pastry equipment and monitor preparation and baking processes.
- Decorate and finish pastry products according to established quality standards.
- Support the setup and replenishment of dessert buffets.
- Monitor stock levels, place requisitions, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Kitchen and F&B teams to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a Pastry Chef or similar role, preferably within hospitality or food service environments.
- Professional training in Pastry, Bakery, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Passion for pastry and attention to detail.
- Creativity and a strong sense of presentation.
- Strong organizational skills and a responsible approach to work.
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Guest-focused mindset and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
