Head Host (f/m/d) - The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection

For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, we are looking for an exceptional Head Host to lead our guest arrival experience and reservations operation. As the face of the restaurant, you will create unforgettable first impressions, build lasting guest relationships and ensure every arrival feels effortless, personal and luxurious.
Join one of the first 75 team members and play a defining role in launching a new luxury destination in Mayfair. From day one, you will help shape the culture, service standards and guest experience that set the hotel apart. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, professional and personalized welcome, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive.
• Oversee the restaurant reservations operation, managing bookings, guest preferences and special requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, special occasions and high-profile reservations.
• Build genuine guest relationships, recognizing returning guests and anticipating their individual preferences.
• Manage table allocations and seating strategies to optimize guest satisfaction and support a seamless service flow.
• Work closely with the Restaurant, Bar, Kitchen and Front Office teams to deliver a memorable luxury guest journey.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback and special requests with professionalism, confidence and discretion.
• Monitor reservation trends and guest feedback, identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure every guest interaction consistently reflects the luxury service standards and values of the Colbert Collection.

How can you succeed in this role

• Previous experience as a Head Host, Host, Guest Relations Executive, Reservations Executive, Maître or similar role within luxury hospitality or fine dining.
• Passion for creating personalized and memorable guest experiences.
• Strong understanding of reservations management and luxury guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural hosting presence.
• Confidence managing VIP guests and complex guest requests.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional, polished and guest-focused approach.
