For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel, London, a member of the Colbert Collection, we are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager who understands how to position a luxury hospitality brand with clarity, creativity, and commercial intelligence. This role is ideal for a hands‑on marketing and communications professional who enjoys working close to the operation and translating brand values into a distinctive and compelling market presence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering the hotel’s marketing and communications strategy across Rooms and Food & Beverage, ensuring a cohesive, elevated expression of the Colbert Collection brand across all guest touchpoints.

Brand, Marketing & Communications Strategy

  • Understand and actively communicate the brand strategy and positioning of the hotel, part of the Colbert Collection brand, across relevant marketing platforms.
  • Develop and implement the annual marketing and communications plan for the hotel, aligned with commercial objectives and the Colbert Collection brand strategy.
  • Act as the on‑property guardian of brand positioning, tone of voice, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
  • Ensure a consistent, refined brand presence across digital channels, media platforms, OTAs, owned communications, and guest‑facing collateral.

Digital, Content & Asset Management

  • Manage and coordinate the hotel’s digital marketing presence, including website content, social media platforms, and campaign messaging.
  • Oversee content creation, storytelling, and day‑to‑day content planning across digital and social channels, ensuring a cohesive, visually elegant narrative.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance the hotel’s marketing asset library, including photography, video, copy, and digital content.
  • Ensure imagery and content reflect the hotel’s design‑led, culturally aware positioning and contemporary Mayfair sensibility.

Communications, PR & Partnerships

  • Lead and coordinate marketing and communications activity for the hotel opening and post‑launch phase.
  • Support PR activities, including liaison with appointed agencies, media relations coordination, press visit logistics, coverage tracking, and internal distribution of results.
  • Identify and support strategic brand partnerships aligned with luxury, culture, lifestyle, and the Colbert Collection ethos.
  • Maintain a calendar of key awards, listings, and nominations, ensuring timely and high‑quality submissions.
  • Support reputational and crisis communications as required, in alignment with Minor Hotels guidelines.

Commercial & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with hotel leadership, Revenue, Sales, Rooms, and Food & Beverage teams to align marketing initiatives with demand cycles and commercial priorities.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the competitive landscape, market trends, and industry developments, translating insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Track performance, campaign outcomes, digital metrics, and coverage, providing clear reporting and commercial insight.

How can you succeed in this role

  • Proven experience in Marketing & Communications or PR within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or premium consumer sectors, ideally within a hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, storytelling, and guest‑centric marketing in a premium market.
  • Hands‑on, structured, and proactive professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross‑functionally with Operations, Revenue, and Corporate teams.
