As part of Minor Hotels, the region of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is responsible for more than 350 properties in 30 countries and plans to grow across all segments, with a focus on its upper-upscale and luxury brands.
What will be your mission?
This position plays a key role in supporting and driving both Asset Management and Development initiatives within the Europe region. He/she will contribute to the optimization of hotel performance and portfolio value by coordinating analyses, preparing negotiation materials as well as committee presentations, and ensuring alignment among internal stakeholders. The role includes monitoring the financial and operational performance of assigned assets, supporting negotiations with owners and partners, and proactively contributing to the execution of the team’s strategic objectives.
What will you do?
Support and assist the Asset Management & Development team in their day-to-day projects in Europe Region:
- Projects will be related to i) lease negotiations ii) assets divestments iii) co – investment negotiations iv) development opportunities v) corporate transactions
- To gather and analyze all relevant information (market research, data rooms, business plans and financial analysis...) in order to prepare the negotiations strategies or new development projects.
- To be in continuous contact with other departments based in HQ as well as Regional Offices in Europe such as Legal, Finance, Tax, Building and Operations in order to align the common understanding.
- To prepare presentations for the Top Management of the Company.
- Be involved in the negotiation of the contracts with several stakeholders.
- Coordinate and push for the completion of the department’s yearly objectives and to achieve the consecution of the Action Plan.
What are we looking for?
Experience
Between 1 to 2 years’ experience in an international hotel chain, international hotel consultancy firm, hotel investment firm or one of the Big Four accounting/consultancy firms would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law/Economics/Business Administration/Tourism/Hotel Management
- Knowledge in finance and good understanding of hotel P&L´s
- Master’s degree in finance/law would be an advantage
- High level of Spanish and English (oral and written)
- Proficiency level of knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
