What will be your mission?

 

As Sales Director, you will participate in all sales activities and work in line with the sales and marketing plan for the various market segments in order to exceed hotel revenue and targets.

 

What will you do?

 

    • Develop and execute the hotel’s commercial plan to optimize results and support revenue objectives.
    • Understand and promote the brand and Minor Hotels’ positioning, projecting a professional image to enhance brand reputation.
    • Drive business opportunities with a strong focus on international markets, particularly Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
    • Apply a multi-segment strategy to maximize results throughout the year and strengthen the hotel’s positioning within the luxury segment.
    • Stay updated on rates, products, services, market trends, and competitor activity.
    • Manage and follow up on the group segment, including inspection visits when required.
    • Contribute to revenue budgeting and align commercial efforts with hotel financial priorities and targets.
    • Support new business development and monitor potential revenue opportunities.
    • Continuously develop professional skills in finance, negotiation, and sales.
    • Ensure effective cost control in compliance with internal approval procedures.
    • Participate in promotional activities, sales trips, roadshows, inspections, and industry events.
    • Collaborate closely with operational teams (Front Office, Reservations, Events) to ensure service delivery.
    • Generate upselling and cross-selling opportunities for Minor Hotels products.
    • Prepare and deliver internal and external commercial presentations, adapting them to different audiences.
    • Perform other related duties as required.
     
     

What are we looking for?

 

 

  • Professional experience in the sales area of at least 3 years.
  • Strong leadership skills and Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, even in situations of stress and pressure.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, flexibility, adaptability and professional secrecy.
  • Focus on results, customer orientation, analytical and creative skills.
  • Good Communication/Persuasion and Negotiation Skills.
  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Excellent ability to create and maintain a customer base.
  • Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Internet, Database and specific applications for the commercial area, PMS and IT, Budget Management and Financial Management software.
  • Excellent command of Spanish and English; fluency in other languages will be valued.
