The Cluster General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational success of two distinct luxury properties located in Croatia and Slovenia, operating under two different brands within the Minor Hotels portfolio.
What will you do?
•Deliver strong financial performance, sustainable profitability, and long-term asset value for both hotels.
• Ensure full brand compliance while respecting the unique positioning and guest promise of Anantara and Minor Reserve Collection.
• Lead the commercial strategy, ensuring strong Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management performance for both properties.
• Successfully position the hotels in their respective markets, ensuring brand visibility and competitive advantage.
• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and high team engagement.
• Act as the primary interface with ownership groups, corporate offices, and key stakeholders.
• Create operational synergies where appropriate without compromising brand individuality or service excellence.
• Define, lead, and oversee the cluster strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate and brand objectives.
• Propose the annual budget for each property, and deliver the Revenue and GOP targets.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and effective Revenue Management activities across both hotels.
• Effectively lead and manage the daytoday operational activities through the department heads.
• Maintain strong and transparent relationships with ownership representatives.
• Ensure continuous improvement of operational and service skills of hotel employees.
• Build, lead, and inspire highperforming leadership teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and development.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment aligned with Minor Hotels values.
• Support and implement all corporate programs, initiatives, and guidelines.
• Represent Minor Hotels professionally in all engagements.
• Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, brand standards, legal requirements, and local regulations in both countries.
• Perform all job tasks in line with established policies and procedures.
• Always strive to provide a top-quality experience to all guests.
What we are looking for?
• At least 2 years’ experience as General Manager, preferably in a 5* hotel.
• International experience and/or experience managing more than one hotel is highly valued.
• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Strong commercial acumen, with proven experience in Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics, rate strategies, segmentation, digital marketing levers, and distribution channels.
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.) and Front Office systems.
• High level of English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the local language is valued but not required.
• Results-driven and detail-oriented.
• High level of commercial awareness and strong sales capabilities.
• Outstanding management and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrable aptitude for decision‑making and problem‑solving.
