F&B Manager - NH Collection Milano City Life

What will be your mission?

 

As Food & Beverage Manager you will oversee all daily Food & Beverage operations across all outlets (restaurant, bar, room service, banqueting, catering, pool bar), ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and consistent excellence. You will also be responsible for the strategic planning and business development of the F&B outlets, creating and implementing new concepts aligned with the property’s positioning.

What will you do?

 

Operational & Strategic Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, coordinate, and control all F&B division activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations across restaurant, bar, room service, banqueting, and pool bar.
  • Develop business plans and strategic actions to maximize guest satisfaction and financial performance.

 

Concept Development & Product Evolution

  • Design innovative F&B concepts aligned with brand positioning.
  • Lead the development and evolution of food and beverage offerings.
  • Support purchasing processes for materials and supplies

 

Team Leadership & HR Management

  • Support the General Manager in recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Attract, train, evaluate, and develop F&B personnel.
  • Manage staffing levels, schedules, productivity, and workforce planning.


Quality, Standards & Cost Control

  • Ensure compliance with all corporate F&B standards, hygiene and safety regulations, and cleaning programs.
  • Oversee equipment conditions and inventory levels.
  • Implement effective cost‑control systems to ensure profitability.


Communication & Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Support the organization of events and banquets with Sales and Events teams.
  • Maintain regular communication with F&B leadership through meetings and team briefings.
  • Build positive relationships with all stakeholders with a service‑oriented approach.

What are we looking for?

 

  • Strong knowledge of the F&B and culinary environment, with extensive experience managing large teams.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in high‑level hospitality and food service brands.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Degree in hospitality or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of food, beverage, service techniques, and current trends.
  • Fluent Italian and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Strong leadership, guest‑orientation, and performance‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and non‑verbal communication skills.
  • Dynamic, curious, passionate about excellence, and able to efficiently solve problems.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and interpersonal abilities, with impeccable cleanliness standards.
