DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage Operations
LOCATION: The Wolseley New York
SALARY RANGE: $160K - $190K USD per year + incentive plan
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall direction and leadership for all food and beverage operations, ensuring alignment with company vision, brand standards, and commercial objectives while also ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences, quality, and service standards through effective team management and development
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guests:
- Provide a consistent, high‑profile leadership presence within all food and beverage guest‑facing operations.
- Actively cultivate and sustain exceptional guest relationships at every opportunity
- Ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience through exemplary quality and service delivery by all teams.
- Ensure a seamless, attentive, and consistently high‑quality dining experience in line with brand standards through effective leadership of all teams.
- Embed a guest‑first, service‑excellence culture across the all food and beverage operations.
- Uphold exemplary standards of personal presentation, grooming, and hygiene at all times
FINANCIAL
- Lead and approve all F&B budgets, prepare forecasts in collaboration with Finance, ensuring delivery of agreed financial targets.
- Maintain full accountability for revenues, costs, and goods receivable through effective financial control.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure robust financial governance across the operation.
- Review financial performance regularly and implement corrective actions as required.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, partners, and key external stakeholders.
- Oversee and respond to guest feedback, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Represent the brand at key events and industry engagements, promoting the business positively.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE
- Oversee regular inspections of the food and beverage outlets in the property, driving corrective action to maintain exceptional standards of safety, compliance, comfort, and cleanliness
- Review operational data and reports, approving annual and ad‑hoc capital and project budgets as required.
- Approve purchase requests, contracts, and work orders to enhance the property’s appearance, efficiency, and longevity.
- Ensure approved budgets are effectively reinvested into timely property improvements and planned renovations
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Select, develop, and lead departmental heads, ensuring full alignment with Wolseley Group standards, policies, and procedures
- Monitor performance and provide structured coaching and career development plans to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Partner with People & Culture to implement initiatives that enhance engagement, morale, and performance through training and development.
- Establish and approve staffing structures and job descriptions aligned to operational and commercial needs.
- Regularly review staffing levels, workload, and payroll performance to ensure efficiency and cost control.
GENERAL
- Ensure all daily and weekly operational meetings are conducted effectively, with clear actions and follow‑through
- Lead and participate in structured operational forums (sales, F&B, finance, forecasting, quality, safety, and compliance)
- Review outcomes and minutes of key meetings, driving timely decisions and corrective actions
- Work in close partnership with the Club Director to ensure full alignment on all core operational matters
- Ensure full compliance across all F&B outlets with licensing, regulatory, and local statutory requirements
- In alignment with TWHG London, maintain agreed reporting structures, governance, menu change programs and brand accountability
- Monitor industry trends and translate insight into continuous operational and commercial improvement.
- Delegate effectively to senior and departmental leaders to ensure smooth, efficient day‑to‑day operations
- Promote clear communication and knowledge‑sharing across all departments
- Attend Director‑level meetings contributing to Group strategy and governance
- Build and lead high‑performing teams focused on revenue growth and exceeding guest expectations.
- Maintain strong organisational discipline, planning, and delivery against deadlines
