Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel, in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, is a unique hotel that combines the timeless elegance of the Tivoli brand with the heritage of Kopke, the world's oldest Port wine house, delivering an exceptional experience where hospitality, wine and gastronomy come together.
Located on the banks of the Douro River, with stunning views over the city of Porto, the hotel features 150 rooms and suites, dining venues led by three-Michelin-starred Chef Nacho Manzano, an exclusive wine cellar, a Tivoli Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and extensive event and wedding facilities for up to 900 guests.

What will you do?
As an Intern (M/F) in the Food & Beverage Department – Kitchen area, you are expected to demonstrate a professional attitude with a strong focus on continuous learning. You should always be available to support and assist the teams in the assigned tasks, while consistently complying with the established standards and procedures, contributing to the preparation and production of high-quality products and the delivery of an excellent service that exceeds guest expectations.
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to join our Food & Beverage team, working closely with and learning from our Chefs, F&B Director, Kitchen, Bar, and Groups & Events teams. This experience will allow you to develop your professional skills and enhance your learning alongside experienced hospitality professionals.
You will be challenged to put your knowledge into practice and gain insight into the daily kitchen operation, participating in tasks such as ingredient preparation, mise-en-place, food preparation and plating, as well as the organisation of work areas, always in accordance with the highest quality and food safety standards.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the preparation of events and special services, supporting the team in delivering meals for groups hosted across our event venues and meeting facilities, with capacity for up to 900 participants. Through this experience, you will play an active role in creating outstanding dining experiences and exceeding guest expectations.

- English fluent and Portuguese is preferred (although is not an exclusion factor)
- Currently studying Hotel Management or related field
- EU passport and/or Swiss B Permit holder
- Working requirements: EU citizen or Permit VISA.
