Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel, in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, is a unique hotel that combines the timeless elegance of the Tivoli brand with the heritage of Kopke, the world's oldest Port wine house, delivering an exceptional experience where hospitality, wine and gastronomy come together.

What will you do?

 

As an Intern (M/F) in the Housekeeping Department, you are expected to demonstrate a professional attitude with a strong focus on continuous learning. You should always show willingness to support and assist the team in the assigned tasks, while consistently complying with the established service standards and procedures, contributing to the highest levels of quality, comfort and cleanliness, and exceeding guest expectations.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to join our Housekeeping team, closely following the daily activities of Housekeeping Managers and Room Attendants, gaining professional experience and promoting your continuous development alongside our most experienced professionals.

You will be challenged to put your knowledge into practice and gain insight into the daily Housekeeping operation, participating in tasks such as the cleaning and preparation of guest rooms and public areas, replenishment of amenities, monitoring presentation standards and space organization, as well as supporting the management of linen and equipment, always in accordance with the hotel's quality, hygiene and safety procedures.

You will also have the opportunity to assist in the preparation of rooms for VIP arrivals, groups and special events, actively contributing to the delivery of a memorable guest experience while ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence throughout every stage of the guest stay, helping to exceed our guests' expectations.

  • Availability of 6 Months - From February/March - August/September 2027                                                                          
  • English fluent and Portuguese is preferred (although is not an exclusion factor)
  • Currently studying Hotel Management or related field
  • EU passport and/or Swiss B Permit holder
  • Working requirements: EU citizen or Permit VISA.
