Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel, in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, is a unique hotel that combines the timeless elegance of the Tivoli brand with the heritage of Kopke, the world's oldest Port wine house, delivering an exceptional experience where hospitality, wine and gastronomy come together.

Located on the banks of the Douro River, with stunning views over the city of Porto, the hotel features 150 rooms and suites, dining venues led by three-Michelin-starred Chef Nacho Manzano, an exclusive wine cellar, a Tivoli Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and extensive event and wedding facilities for up to 900 guests.

What will you do?

As an Intern (M/F) in Rooms Department you must assume a professional attitude with a focus on continuous learning. Always demonstrate availability to accompany and help teams in the suggested tasks always complying with the standards and service procedures, in order to guarantee the provision of a service of quality and excellence, exceeding customer expectations. 

During the Internship you will have the opportunity to integrate the rooms division and do a cross training passing by different areas such as concierge, guest relations, guest service, Housekeeping and Front-Office in order to acquire professional experience and continuous improvement side by side with our most experienced professionals.
You will be challenged to put into practice your knowledge and learn the day-to-day service, ensuring the reception, support the customer from the booking stage to check-out, provide information and promote the services of the Hotel and the region, provinding a service of quality and excellence, contributing actively and decisively to exceed customer expectations.

• English fluent and Portuguese is preferred (although is not an exclusion factor)
• Currently studying Hotel Management or related field
• EU passport and/or Swiss B Permit holder
• Working requirements: EU citizen or Permit VISA.
