What will be your mission?
As Sommelier, you will be responsible for serving the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by administering the day-to-day operations of Wine service areas in the hotel.
What will you do?
- Delivery of wine service to the guests.
- Training the wait staff.
- Managing wine stock inventory.
- Keeping wine stocks under control.
- Wine menu development.
- Costing/margins management.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience as a sommelier, managing wine stock.
- Good level of English both verbal and written.
- Accredited sommelier certificate.
- Passion for wine and drinks in general.
- Proven track of engaging the restaurant team in wine (e.g. wine-pairing, upselling, training).
- Ambitious to learn and develop whilst on job.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Pleasant, positive, and open attitude.
