The Next Generation Advisory Board at Minor Hotels Europe & Americas - Innovative, International and with a Drive for Change

What happens when you bring together curious minds from across hotels, roles, and cultures? Minor Hotels' NGA Board with its advertise spanning Germany & Central Europe, Benelux, France, the UK and the Nordics.

At Minor Hotels, this next-generation initiative gives young talent a platform to challenge perspectives and co-create the future of hospitality. It’s not top-down - it’s built from within. Real voices. Real insights. Real impact.

From exploring emerging trends to tackling concrete business challenges, the board turns dialogue into action. Members don’t just discuss the future; they help shape it.

The NGA Board connects people who wouldn’t usually sit at the same table; and that’s exactly where the magic happens. New angles, better decisions, stronger collaboration.

And in an industry that often follows tradition, this initiative leads the way. Got an idea? A question? A challenge worth solving? Join the conversation!

How can we help you? How can you help us?

The topics we address are diverse and wide-ranging; from creating an inclusive workplace to addressing the wider company’s AI structure and strategy. We welcome ideas and innovation and actively challenge the future. Together, we explore each subject in depth and investigate new possibilities.

Recent projects that the NGA board took on and/or is currently working on include:

AI at Minor Hotels: As AI continues to become part of everyday working life, the NGA Board set out to understand how it could best support our teams. After gathering feedback from employees and looking at developments across the industry, we put together practical recommendations to help employees build confidence with AI and use it responsibly, all while ensuring we never lose sight of the personal connections that make hospitality special.

Minor University Trainings: Together with Minor Hotels University, the NGA Board explored why training opportunities weren't reaching as many employees as expected across the former Northern Europe region. By speaking with trainers and reviewing employee feedback, we identified what was holding people back and developed ideas to make learning opportunities easier to find, easier to access, and more relevant to day-to-day work. The goal was simple: help create a stronger learning culture and encourage more employees to take advantage of the development opportunities available to them.

Young People at Minor Hotels: Retention & Motivation: Attracting young talent is important but keeping them engaged and motivated is just as crucial. The NGA Board is currently exploring what drives younger employees, what they value in the workplace, and what influences their decision to stay with a company. The insights gathered will help shape new ideas and initiatives aimed at creating an even better employee experience and supporting long-term career development at Minor Hotels.
