As a Breakfast Employee (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the restaurant and banqueting. You enjoy your role as an authentic host and you feel comfortable in engaging with our national and international guests.

Your Day-to-Day at NH Collection

 

06:45 You arrive, with a cup of coffee, in the breakfast pantry for the handover with the morning shift and supervisor. 
07:00 You welcome all guests with a smile and offer a cup of coffee where possible. 
08:15 During the rush hour one of the regular guests arrives, inform the kitchen ahead to make his favorite omelet. 
09:30 The breakfast peak is mostly done, and you start on the mise en place for breakfast for tomorrow. 
10:30 All guests have left the breakfast restaurant and together with your colleagues you prepare lunch for the Meeting and Event groups. 
11:00 Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments. 
12:00 The first guests arrive for the Meeting & Event lunch, and you serve the soup for the first group. 
14:00 The Meeting and Events lunch is over, and you and your colleagues prepare everything for breakfast for the next morning. 
14:45 The late shift has arrived, and you will attend the handover. 
15:00 Go home!

  • Helping guests puts a big smile on your face. The ‘always a pleasure’ mentality is second nature for you, and you are happy go the extra mile for our guests;
  • You are a hard worker with an eye for detail and see a challenge in every situation;
  • You have a passion for food and beverage. Experience as waiter in a restaurant or in the hospitality industry and a relevant education are useful, but not the most important for us;
  • You have a good command of the English language; Dutch is an advantage;
  • You love to share your passion and knowledge for food and beverage with our guests and colleagues.
