What will be your mission?

 

As a Banquet Sous Chef you will be committed to providing exceptional service, quality and value. You will assist in training, assigning and supervising kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking and garnishing of food. You will also assist in the development of new menu offerings, banquet menus and the review of all banquet orders.

What will you do?

 

  • Work with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to develop bespoke menus for banqueting events.
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Coordinate bulk food production for hotel banquet events.
  • Direct and coordinate kitchen staff during banquet preparation and service, assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members.

  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for banquets.
  • Order supplies as needed and ensure they are available for scheduled events.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to hotel standards.

What are we looking for?

 

  • Vocational training in gastronomy/cooking/F&B/culinary or related areas.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Banqueting Chef, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.
  • Intermediate level of English.
